Axon Lab becomes iSoft’s new Swiss partner

iSoft has announced its re-entry into the Swiss market through a distribution agreement, just 18-months after it sold its Swiss operations.
In June 2006 iSoft sold its operations in Switzerland to Nexus, a local provider of healthcare IT solutions, for €1.4m (2.25m Swiss Francs).
Under its new distribution agreement Axon Lab AG, a service provider for diagnostics and molecular biology, will support iSoft in selling laboratory systems in Switzerland
Core elements of the agreement are the distribution, implementation and support of the leading iSoft laboratory solution LabCentre.
iSoft has a strong market position in the German laboratory information systems market with more than 200 installations.
Gary Cohen, executive chairman and CEO of IBA Health Group commented: "Our agreement with Axon Lab continues our expansion in Europe. At present we rank among the leading suppliers of e-health solutions in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. Further markets in Europe will follow soon."
Axon Lab AG has been a dedicated service provider in the fields of diagnostics and molecular biology since 1989. The company installs and supports a range of diagnostic equipment and software applications.
