RamSoft expands systems to Spain

RamSoft, the Canadian provider of radiology systems, has released Spanish versions of its PowerServer and Gateway products.
The Spanish versions of the software platforms replicate the traditional radiology information system, picture archiving and communications, teleradiology and DICOM solutions.
Features include workflow management, image routing, diagnostic image viewing and manipulation, patient scheduling, reporting and billing.
Marilyn Solano, director of business development for RamSoft said: “By using RamSoft’s web based solutions over a secure, high-speed internet connection, Spanish speaking radiologists will be able to assist each other in those regions where there is a shortage of radiologists.
“Our overall goal is to continue improving patient care around the globe with our latest technology. Our system is affordable, cost effective, and now available in one of the most widely spoken languages in the world.”
RamSoft uses a volume licencing model so that products are not limited by the number of users or workstations.
The PowerServer RIS/PACS is a built on a single platform sharing the same database to improve workflow and data management. According to RamSoft all of its products can be customised to meet the needs of individual users and are designed to fit in any radiology environment.
